Financial Systems Analyst (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Administer: Act as the go-to system administrator for global financial reporting tools (SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, Excel), ensuring technical consistency and data reliability.

  • Validate: Perform plausibility checks across data sources—from ERP systems to eCommerce files—to maintain accuracy and coherence in reporting outputs.

  • Integrate: Oversee the flow and integration of financial data from multiple systems during monthly closing, forecasting, and planning cycles.

  • Copilot: Assist in intelligent decision making, by offering recommendations based on analytic insights and predictive data modeling and supports scenario simulations to evaluate financial metrics.

  • Optimize: Drive continuous improvement by automating reports, building dashboards to streamline processes and enhance user experience, and developing clear, up-to-date process and system documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer across teams.

  • Collaborate: Actively engage in internal and cross-functional projects (e.g. digital transformation, SAP rollouts, ESG reporting), contributing to a system-oriented mindset and helping shape a resilient, future-ready systems landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Controlling, Operational Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: First hands-on experience in operational controlling or financial systems support.

  • Languages: Fluent English (written and verbal); German is a plus.

  • Tool Affinity: Familiarity with ERP and management reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.); Power BI or Power Query knowledge is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Solid Excel skills and high overall digital literacy; no need to code but ability to navigate and connect data across tools is essential.

  • Mindset: Curious, system-oriented thinker with an interest in KPIs, data flows, and financial metrics (e.g. understanding P&L, BS, Cash-Flow)

  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, flexibility in shifting priorities, and confidence in communicating with international teams via email and calls.
