Financial Regulatory Rules Interpretation Ld Analyst - VP

The Financial Regulatory Rules Interpretation role is a U.S. Basel rule interpretive position within Citi's U.S. Basel regulatory capital policy team, the Regulatory Capital Policy Group (RCPG).  The position provides visibility within the organization and opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Lines of Business, Risk, Treasury, and second line of defense functions on regulatory capital policy matters.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex policy analyses and interpretation of the U.S. Basel regulatory capital rules, including new rule issuances.
• Provide the U.S. Basel regulatory capital treatment for Citi's new activities.
• Update and maintain components of Citi's Basel Interpretive Manual.
• Support and collaborate with Capital Calculations and Reporting and other Citi stakeholders to ensure U.S. Basel regulatory capital compliance. Includes guidance related to implementation and ongoing accuracy and governance of regulatory capital calculations.
• Execute effective internal controls to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications:

• 6-10+ years of experience with U.S. Basel regulatory capital regulations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts and make accessible to management.
• Strong understanding of financial products, U.S. banking statutes, and U.S. banking agency regulations and supervisory oversight.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate through a large organization to promote and build consensus around interpretations and viewpoints.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree in Finance or Accounting, Master's degree preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
