The Private Bank Emerging Markets Performance Management function in supports the PB front office and leadership by providing transparent, data‑driven insights on business performance. The role is responsible for financial analysis, sales productivity reporting, pipeline analytics, budgeting/forecasting, and strategic performance initiatives. The incumbent partners closely with Front Office Heads, Product teams, Finance, and COO to drive commercial discipline, optimize revenue generation, and enhance business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain regular performance dashboards (AUM, revenues, NNA, margins, RMs’ KPIs, client activity metrics).
- Analyze business trends and provide insights to senior management to support decision‑making.
- Conduct variance analysis vs budget, prior periods, and strategic plans.
- Produce monthly and quarterly business reviews for market heads, COO, and global leadership.
- Partnering with Business Finance/CFO during weekly, monthly P&L close to provide best estimates to senior management on Revenue and Net New Assets.
- Lead the annual Sub regional and RM budgeting process (revenues, expenses, headcount, NNA, AUM).
- Prepare rolling forecasts with scenarios and sensitivities.
- Partner with Finance to reconcile financials, revenue attributions, and cost allocations.
- Support RM productivity analysis (client load, segmentation, wallet share, activity metrics).
- Track sales pipelines and deal conversion ratios.
- Work with Coverage Heads to drive disciplined pipeline hygiene and sales accountability.
- Assist in designing incentive KPIs and performance scorecards.
- Drive and support performance‑related strategic initiatives (e.g., pricing optimization, AUM deepening, fee income enhancement).
- Provide analysis for market entry/exit considerations and resource allocation decisions.
- Support transformation projects including digitization, CRM optimization, and reporting automation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of performance data across systems.
- Strengthen governance in FO metrics, incentive KPIs, and performance-related reporting.
- Partner with Tech/COO to enhance data quality, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5–12 years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, FP&A, Finance, Business management, or Consulting.
- Strong financial modelling and analysis capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and CRM/reporting tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior management.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong team player and ability to collaborate well with stakeholders across multi-locational teams and functions across regions.
