Role Overview:

The Finance Planning and Analysis Analyst plays a key role within the MVH Europe finance team, delivering accurate, consistent and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making across the business. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and FP&A leadership, the role focuses on forecasting, variance analysis, period‑close support and the maintenance of financial models, tools and dashboards. This position is instrumental in ensuring data integrity across systems, translating complex financial information into clear business insights, and contributing to continuous process improvement and strategic initiatives across markets and functions. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, the role offers exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and provides a strong foundation for development within a commercial finance environment.

Reporting to the Finance Planning & Analysis Senior Manager this role offers a hybrid working arrangement (50%) in our Birmingham (Solihull) office.

Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Planning and Analysis Analyst sits within the MVH Europe FP&A team, reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager. The role works closely with Finance Business Partners and cross‑functional stakeholders across markets to support planning, forecasting, reporting and period‑close activities. It requires strong collaboration to ensure financial data is accurate, consistent and aligned across systems, alongside the ongoing maintenance of financial models, tools and dashboards. The position demands strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights while supporting continuous improvement of FP&A processes and tools.

Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to provide data support. Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data across systems. Maintain and update financial models, templates, and dashboards for FP&A processes. Period close activities support. Assist in preparing monthly reporting packages, forecasts, and variance analysis. Tool use & process documentation.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Accounting or Finance qualification (or part qualification)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in FP&A, Controlling, or similar.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and modeling tools (Excel, Oracle, BI platforms)
  • Strong modeling skills and Excel proficiency.
  • Good understanding of financial statements and business performance.
  • Experience in reporting tools (Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Able to work independently and influence without authority.
