Job Description

To liaise with clients and insurance companies to find the best deals for insurance cover and actively promote products to increase profitability.
  • Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work related resources.
  • Achieve expected financial targets and uphold associated service levels.
  • Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage existing client base and grow existing portfolio through renewal processes.
  • Contact existing client base and up-sell appropriate insurance products in order to achieve pre-agreed targets.
  • Analyse competitor information gathered and ensure active monitoring of market trends and influencers to identify and implement retention opportunities.
  • Interact with external customers to create awareness and anticipation of products.
  • Collaborates across the Group to look for new initiatives to increase the appeal of the product mix. Aligns with partners and drives sales of a mix of products that will address customers range of requirements.
  • Monitors own performance against set, individual financial targets.
  • Manage and grow portfolio through proactive client contact and ensure client retention and satisfaction levels are maintained.
  • Analyse client’s current product offerings and solutions to provide a holistic insurance offering to the client.
  • Track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim of achieving previously determined sales targets.
  • Maximise cross sell opportunities through the identification of specialist advisory requirements.
  • Convert leads into successful sales and achieve individual targets set to appropriate business area or sales plan.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales revenue and to grow the organisational client base while containing costs.
  • Identify and correct sales process problems and escalate where necessary.
  • Continuously improve sales processes.
  • Maintain specialised knowledge on all FirstRand approved products, application procedure, fulfilment processes and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  • Identify additional financial services requirements through all aspects of the client's balance sheet.
  • Understand and market all financial services solutions within the Insurance.
  • Brokerage offering.
  • Drive retention of customers through active client engagement and identification of opportunities to ensure client activity.
  • Implement, track and report on client campaigns and initiatives.
  • Deliver service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solution selection and application.
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
