We champion self-reliance and foster a collaborative and innovative culture. The Orange Code is our global manifesto for how we stay true to our purpose and our traditions of reinvention and empowerment. It consists of ING Values (we are honest; we are prudent; we are responsible) and ING Behaviours: (you take it on and make it happen; you help others to be successful; you are always a step ahead).
The opportunity
Our Financial Markets graduate programme is a full-time one-year work experience with a steep learning curve, consisting of two rotations of six months each. The programme is a unique opportunity to get full insight into our Financial Markets franchise and provides you with a solid foundation and strong market knowledge. During the programme you will be an integrated member of our sales and trading teams and quickly familiarise yourself with our clients, products, and the market. Rotations are matched to your skillset and our business needs.
In the first few months you will join a two-week training programme in Amsterdam and London where you will have the opportunity to meet graduates from different Financial Markets locations and obtain a thorough understanding of other departments within the Wholesale Bank.
As part of the programme a senior member will be assigned to you as your mentor and one of our former graduates will be assigned as your buddy.
Upon successful completion of the programme, we aim to provide you a full-time position within ING Financial Markets. The initial placement will be in Amsterdam but Financial Markets is a truly global franchise. In simple words: when you permanently join ING Financial Markets, you have the opportunity to see the world!
