Salary Range: $150144 - $195190 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT (N7) of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.

Major Duties:

  • You participate fully in management discussions, decisions, policymaking, and shares in the responsibility for top management actions covering all activities related to financial management issues.
  • You will promote efficient and economic financial operations at NSWG-2 by providing financial management guidance and advice to all level of the NSWG-2 enterprise to support mission execution.
  • You will provide analysis and recommendations on NSWF-2's budgetary needs for all funding matters.
  • You will be responsible for leading change by integrating key organizational and program goals, priorities, values, and other factors.
  • You will assess impact on organization programs/policies in other command segments and ensure assignment of equitable monetary resources commensurate with mission priorities.
  • You will provide direct technical and administrative supervision to up to 16 civilian employees performing Accounting, Budget, Travel and analytical type functions.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing the planning, programming, budgeting, execution and accounting of funds; analyzing and interpreting financial directives and polices to ensure compliance and promote efficient financial operations.
