What You Will Do:
Lead and manage a PP&E-focused project workstream to support a Federal agency’s efforts in achieving a clean audit opinion.
Perform detailed assessments of the agency’s PP&E internal control environment, including asset accountability, valuation, and financial reporting processes.
Develop and implement corrective action plans to remediate PP&E-related audit findings and strengthen internal controls.
Collaborate closely with the audit liaison workstream and A-123 controls workstream to ensure alignment and integration of PP&E remediation activities.
Provide subject matter expertise on PP&E accounting and audit standards to guide the agency toward sustainable audit readiness.
Engage with agency stakeholders to ensure PP&E remediation efforts comply with applicable federal financial management regulations and support long-term audit success.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
FIVE (5)+ years of PP&E accounting experience, including 2 years within the IC
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Relevant certification including the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Experience with conducting federal financial statement audits and/or supporting audit remediation engagements.
