Te Tūranga – About the role
We’re looking for a Financial Controller & Quota Manager to lead financial control and quota planning for Leigh Fish. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial insight to deliver strong financial outcomes and ensure quota availability.
· Lead the finance and quota/ACE function, managing a team of four
· Own month-end and year-end processes, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting
· Deliver accurate, timely reporting and embed robust financial controls
· Plan and execute annual quota strategy, including sourcing and selling ACE
· Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting
· Build trusted relationships with quota owners, suppliers and internal stakeholders

He kōrero mōu – About you
You’re a hands-on finance leader with strong commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA preferred
· Proven experience in financial control within large or complex organisations
· Understanding of NZ Quota Management System and ACE processes (advantageous)
· ERP literacy and confidence with reconciliations and reporting
· Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Curious, proactive and comfortable challenging the status quo
