Financial Analyst

SUMMARY

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and long-term success of Rochester Regional Health. You will secure, organize and evaluate data from multiple internal and external sources; as well as prepare and present financial findings and recommendations to requestors based on the business needs identified.

LOCATION: Riedman Campus 

DEPARTMENT: Revenue Integrity 

SCHEDULE:  Monday to Friday- 8 am - 4.30 pm      

ATTRIBUTES

  • Crystal Report Writing experience

  • Analytical skills with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts

  • Demonstrated understanding of operational statistics, both qualitative and quantitative

  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.

  • Experience using PMM Software and reporting tools

  • Ability to communicate and present effectively 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data analysis & interpretation. Collect and study financial data and extract and define relevant information to determine costs of business activities, past financial performance and/or new project success probability

  • Financial reporting & documentation. Document forecasting, trending as well as an analysis of your results; record, classify and summarize financial transactions

  • Compliance. Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and verify documents for compliance with government and private agencies

  • Software knowledge. Proficient use of software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Business, Finance, or Information Systems, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

  •  Zero to five years relevant work experience

  • Crystal Report Writing

  • Proficient analytical skills with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts

  • Demonstrated understanding of operational statistics, both qualitative and quantitative

  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Access, Power Point, etc

  • PMM Software and reporting tools, desired

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
