POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst serves as a key contributor within the Pricing Strategy & Operations team, supporting CuraScript SD through the execution, management, and continuous improvement of pricing operations processes. This role will focus on enhancing pricing efficiency, evaluating financial and profitability impacts, and ensuring strong governance over upstream and downstream process dependencies.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical self-starter who thrives in a matrixed environment and demonstrates the ability to anticipate impacts, collaborate cross‑functionally, and guide others informally through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Pricing Operations & Process Management
Execute and manage day‑to‑day pricing operations activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established workflows.
Maintain and update pricing inputs and operational data across applicable systems and tools.
Identify process gaps and lead small‑scale process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
Support cross-functional discussions and alignment when upstream or downstream changes impact pricing processes.
Financial Modeling & Profitability Analysis
Develop and maintain financial models that support pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and scenario evaluation.
Analyze unit costs, margins, customer pricing structures, payment terms, and financial outcomes to support leadership decisions.
Consolidate data from multiple sources to produce executive-ready reporting, insights, and workflow outputs.
Assess cash flow and profitability impacts related to operational pricing changes and customer contract structures.
Operational Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Contracting, IT, and other supporting teams to ensure cohesive pricing operations.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource to peers, providing informal mentoring and guidance on pricing processes, tools, and data interpretation.
Participate in or lead workstreams aimed at enhancing pricing governance, data integrity, and system capabilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data/Analytics, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, modeling, data manipulation, and workbook design.
4+ years demonstrated experience with financial modeling, profitability analysis, cost evaluation, and operational financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
Experience operating in a matrixed environment, with ability to understand and communicate cross-functional impacts.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to convey complex concepts concisely and professionally.
Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SAP S4 or Vistex pricing modules.
Alteryx experience (workflow automation, data cleansing, transformation).
SQL Server experience (querying, data extraction, basic table joins).
Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare supply chain operations.
Exposure to project management methodologies or process optimization initiatives.
