Job Description:
Overview
The Pricing Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining pricing strategies that support Rogue's financial goals. This role performs detailed margin and cost analysis, evaluates economic cost drivers, and provides pricing recommendations that ensure competitiveness and profitability. The analyst will take full ownership of pricing activities, including monitoring cost changes, modeling impacts, and proactively recommending adjustments.
The Pricing Financial Analyst is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Perform detailed order-level margin analysis to ensure pricing supports profitability targets
Evaluate tariffs, freight charges, duty rates, shipping costs, and other landed cost components
Monitor economic changes such as raw material cost fluctuations, freight market changes, and tariff updates
Take complete ownership of pricing decisions, analysis, modeling, and recommendations
Proactively identify when cost changes require pricing updates and communicate recommended actions to leadership
Build and maintain pricing models, cost calculators, and margin reporting tools
Analyze customer pricing, product trends, cost changes, and margin performance to identify risks and opportunities
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance to gather accurate cost inputs and validate pricing assumptions
Provide scenario modeling for cost changes, competitive pressure, customer programs, and economic shifts
Support quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc pricing updates
Prepare reports that highlight margin performance, pricing risks, economic impacts, and recommended actions
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to pricing and cost trends
Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing processes and financial accuracy
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MBA is a plus
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Advanced Excel proficiency (lookups, formulas, modeling). This will be an Excel-intensive role
Ability to interpret tariffs, freight rates, logistics charges, and raw material cost inputs
High attention to detail and accuracy is required
Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, in-office environment
