Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Financial Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the FP&A and Regional Finance activities for his / her assigned region(s). Key responsibilities will include budgeting / forecasting, internal financial reporting and assistance with month end financial close. The position will report to a Director of Finance within the FP&A team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Performs monthly P&L reforecast, including budget to actual variance analysis and identification of P&L

trends

· Assists Director with annual P&L planning process for given region(s)

· Reports financial results and key performance indicators on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

· Leads accounts receivable estimation as part of monthly close process

· Leads bonus expense accrual development and tracking for given region(s)

· Prepares earn out calculations and estimates

· Aids the Director in financial reviews with Regional Leadership (Regional Managing Principal & Market

Leaders), Finance Leadership (CFO, SVP & VP) and Executive Team (CEO, COO, etc.) on a regular basis

· Coordinates with Director to implement financial and operational improvements

· Acts as liaison to corporate finance departments (Accounting, Commissions, Treasury) on behalf of region

· Coordinates with other Regional Finance team members on analysis of Company-wide trends

· Performs ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis

· Works with Company systems and applications such as CRM, General Ledger, and reporting tools to complete

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

· Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills;

· Strong verbal and written communication skills;

· Ability to maintain confidentiality;

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;

· Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects

Education, Training and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area;

· 1-2 years’ experience in a similar financial position, preferred but not required

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Experience with insurance brokerage operations, preferred but not required

· Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

· Must be detail oriented, accurate and have the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within a given time

frame

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
