A senior investment sales team at Marcus & Millichap in the firm’s Seattle office is seeking a dependable and motivated Financial Analyst with prior experience in real estate financial analysis and valuation to become a part of our team. This is a full-time, in-office position working directly under a top-producing multifamily investment sales team.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent professional business writing abilities, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, or have 2 – 3 years of experience performing complex financial modeling and analysis.
Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support across all aspects of the team’s investment sales process. Responsibilities include underwriting property values, preparing proposals and opinions of value, conducting market research both, analyzing comparable properties and sales trends, and preparing financial analyses for client presentations. Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail are musts.
The Financial Analyst will be an integral contributor to the team. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
The base salary range for this role is $33.65 – $43.27 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role.
