Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis within the Global Finance Shared Services team. This role focuses on internal and external reporting, general expense analysis, and providing support for tax and audit activities. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and external auditors to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and continuous process improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and internal reporting.
  • Prepare and support internal management reports and variance analyses.
  • Support tax compliance and internal/external audit activities by providing required data and explanations.
  • Prepare statistical and other reports as required by management, government and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc finance tasks and process improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Primary Accounting Certification or other equivalent is a must.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or shared services environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Fluent in English. Cantonese is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar) is a plus.
