Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst supports monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables and collaborates across Group Finance and operating segments. This role is responsible for preparing management reports, analyzing financial results, and contributing to finance transformation initiatives such as report automation and process improvements. Success requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams. The position offers exposure to various business divisions, operating environments, and strategic planning, while fostering continuous improvement and adaptability in a dynamic setting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring data integrity and timely reconciliations.

  • Analyze variances, trends, and important data; provide insightful commentary and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop reports and respond to ad-hoc queries while supporting operational improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.

  • Participate in special projects and transformation initiatives, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.

  • Build strong relationships across segments and promote a client-centric, team-oriented culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience); CPA designation attained or in progress.

  • Experience in Finance within a large multinational organization, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI, especially Excel; ability to learn new applications quickly.

  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey financial concepts and results; strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities.

  • Self-starter with sound judgment, adaptability, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer-focused attitude and commitment to quality; openness to learning and operational improvement.

  • Knowledge of Essbase/Smartview and Infor (or similar enterprise finance applications) considered an asset.

Working Arrangement

Salary range is expected to be between

$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD
