Your Role on Our Team
As a Financial Analyst, you will support and help drive the financial performance of our transportation and logistics operations across all modes of transportation. This role offers significant exposure to cross-functional partners and senior leadership, making it an excellent opportunity for a high-performing analyst looking to grow into broader finance or leadership roles.
You will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, while also contributing to ongoing transportation visibility and system enhancement initiatives.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis and support for supply chain and logistics operations, specifically all modes of transportation across all facilities
- Partner with our external freight payment and audit provider to ensure carriers are paid accurately and on time, avoiding service disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify financial risks and opportunities tied to operational plans and execution
- Analyze monthly financial results, identify root causes of variances, and communicate actuals and forecasts with clear, concise narratives for Finance and Operational leadership
- Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations that support cost control, efficiency, and profitability improvement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and eliminating non–value-added activities and streamlining financial processes
- Develop ad hoc and “what-if” financial analyses to support decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Gain exposure to transportation systems, data, and reporting tools, with opportunities to contribute to future enhancements and automation efforts
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- 2+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to summarize insights from large data sets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to various levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
