Financial Analysis Senior Analyst - CarepathRx

POSITION SUMMARY

This Financial Analysis Senior Analyst will sit within the CarepathRx finance team and report to the Sr. Manager supporting both CarepathRx and designated clients.  The position will interact with leaders from various parts of the company and will also have direct contact with external customers/vendors. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of CarepathRx markets, products, customers, and business environment, while providing financial support

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Routinely develop, review, and analyze statistical, revenue, cost, and profitability data for pharmacy payor contracts.  Also confirms through this analysis that paid rates are consistent with contracted rates.

  • Supports contract negotiations through financial analysis on proposed payor contract terms and rates.  Propose counter rates to management when appropriate.

  • Review and analyze financial impact of payor rate and fee schedule updates.

  • Performs complex financial calculations used in the monthly financial statement close process.

  • Assists in annual Audit and Budgeting processes.

  • Supports the Lead Analysts and Company Leadership as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related field is required.

  • 3+ years of experience in a financial analyst or accounting role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software. 

  • Proven ability to learn new software. 

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to quickly changing demands and deadlines.

  • Professional yet persistent when following up with departmental and payor contacts.
