What this opportunity involves: 

 

Join JLL's Retail Property & Asset Management team as a Financial Administrator, supporting our prestigious TAM Portfolio. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to revenue collection and financial management within one of Australia's leading real estate services firms.

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Administrator to manage debt collection, financial administration, and tenant liaison activities for our NSW TAM Portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Account, you will play a crucial role in maintaining positive cash flow and ensuring timely financial processes.

 

 

An overview of the role:  

 

Debt Management

·       Liaise directly with tenants to collect arrears and manage invoicing queries via email and phone

·       Deliver debt collection activities in line with KPI requirements

·       Prepare monthly debt commentary reports and management reporting

·       Collaborate with Property Managers to ensure timely fund allocation and accurate debt management

·       Monitor payment plan adherence and provide timely recommendations on debt concerns

·       Issue and manage Direct Debit Forms for new tenants

Financial Administration

·       Work with the Finance Team to manage Water Rates tracker and Council Rates

·       Review leases, licences and disclosure statements to confirm tenant liabilities

·       Manage all TAM-related invoices including market valuations, surveys and marketing costs

·       Ensure accurate tenant data including addresses and lease information

Administrative Support

·       Collaborate with the Retail Precinct Manager on sales data collection and auditing

·       Manage digital and physical mail relating to key duties

·       Contribute to Monthly Management Reports and ad hoc reporting requirements

·       Update and maintain current tenant contact information

·       Support the Property Management Team as required

 

 

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: 

·       Knowledge of the NSW Retail Tenancies Act

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent business acumen and data management capabilities

·       Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word

·       Experience with MRI and Acumen systems for running debt reports

·       Ability to reconcile tenant ledgers

·       Strong collaborative teamwork skills

·       Graduate degree in property or related field

·       Background in debt management and invoicing

·       Previous experience with MRI software
