Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance Trainee/Apprentice/VIE to join our team at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their finance careers to gain practical experience and develop essential skills within a global automotive supplier. The successful candidate will support various finance functions, contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data and contributing to projections.
* Participate in cost control and financial performance monitoring activities.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial procedures and internal controls.
* Conduct financial data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and resolve issues.
* Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as required.

Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is essential.
* Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (required for Mexico).
* Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Previous internship or academic project experience in finance is desirable.
