What You Will Do
Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data and contributing to projections
Participate in account reconciliation and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist in cost analysis and tracking, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures
Support internal and external audit preparations, providing necessary documentation and information
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial insights
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by senior finance staff
Learn and apply company-specific financial software and systems
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical standards
What You Should Have
Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Prior internship/co-op experience with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
Have experience with budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data, and contributing to projections
Have experience with account reconciliation and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prior internship / co-op experience assisting in cost analysis and tracking, plus identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimization
Experience with Google applications and financial software and systems
