How you will make an impact:

Seeking a Finance Manager who will be an integral part of APMEA Regional Corporate FP&A team to support the delivery of our near and long-term financial objectives. APMEA as a growth engine for the company, supports more than 20 divisions and business units across all functions.

The scope of responsibilities includes all financial planning & analysis and reporting to execute financial goals and initiatives to support a growing organization. This role will also be the key finance partner to APMEA regional functions leadership team (e.g. Marketing, IT, Legal, Finance, HR etc). This role will be based in Singapore.
 

What you will do:

• Partner and collaborate with regional function leaders, country and regional division finance teams to ensure key deliverables and timelines for business reviews / corporate submissions are met.

• Build and maintain standardized templates to facilitate efficient and effective planning, consolidation and reviews, support monthly /quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting and strategic plan process (i.e. MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.), covering areas including Opex, Capex, Headcount, Productivity and Strategic Initiatives/Projects.

• Analyze transactional and operational cost data, identify anomalies, to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting. Communicate key risks and opportunities, and identify corrective actions for performance improvement.

• Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and country/division finance teams, and system support to improve data quality at the cost center and product line level.

• Proactively learn and adopt new systems and tools to improve analytics capability and data accuracy. Participate and contribute on regional finance projects to drive simplification, standardization, automation and process improvement, as well as enhance strategic finance partnership with key stakeholders. 

• Support regional function leaders (e.g Marketing, IT, Legal, Finance, etc) on expense cross-charging across regions/countries and provide tracking and management support for Capex projects.

• Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis / projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 6 - 8 years of progressive experiences in regional FP&A with regional role exposure in a large global company and highly matrixed organization.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, hands-on and meticulous.
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task in deadline driven and matrix environment. Good personal efficiency to prioritize or initiate escalation where needed and comfortable handling ambiguity at times.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with solid stakeholder skills. Able to handle highly critical information with absolute confidentiality and integrity.
  • Applied knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management/Planning system, with Cost Center Accounting experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with BI/AI/Automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Query/Automate, RPA, ChatGPT) would be an advantage.
