Finance Manager - Sky Gaming (Job Share)

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will partner closely with the Sky Gaming leadership team, providing insight, challenge and decision support across revenue performance, customer promotions, forecasting and cost control. The role is instrumental in driving EBITDA performance and supporting the business to identify and deliver balanced growth opportunities.
This position is a true job‑share role, operating as a single Finance Manager position split across two individuals working three days per week each. One half of the job share is already in role, and we are looking for a strong, high-reaching Finance Manager who is keen to accelerate their development and broaden their exposure within a complex, trading‑led business.
The role will have shared accountability, clear ownership and a structured handover model, ensuring pace, continuity and high‑quality partner coverage.
What you`ll be doing
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the Sky Gaming Performance and CVM teams, as well as wider UKI Content and Safer Gambling teams.
- Partner with the Head of Finance and Sky Gaming Directors, with a particular focus on free bet spend, promotional efficiency, and innovation in new promotions and product features.
- Provide clear insight and constructive challenge on commercial decisions, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Own the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process for Sky Gaming, ensuring strong engagement from senior internal partners.
- Deliver high-quality analysis and commentary for monthly and quarterly Business Reviews to the UKI CEO and CFO.
- Develop and continuously improve month-end and regular finance reporting, ensuring relevance, clarity and pace.
- Drive insight across revenue performance, including strong exposure to Duty, Revenue Share and Marketing spend.
- Identify and deliver cost efficiency opportunities, improving financial control and operational efficiency.
- Play a leading role in Sky Gaming and wider UKI projects, including development of business cases and post-investment appraisals.
- Leadership & development of Finance Business Partner, supporting capability across revenue share, promotional analytics, reporting and acquisition analysis.
What we`re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong experience operating at a Finance Manager level.
- Confirmed business partnering experience with senior, non-finance interested parties.
- Ability to operate optimally in a fast-paced, trading-focused environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and influence decision-making.
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Experience in customer-focused or digital businesses is desirable.
- Awareness of the gambling industry, competitive dynamics and macro factors impacting trading performance would be a benefit.
- Previous experience developing or mentoring junior finance colleagues is a good to have.
