About the role
2026 Auctane Summer Internship Program:

Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program. Students graduating in May 2026 are not eligible for the program
Duration:
Paid, 9-week internship
Schedule:
40 hours per week, with the exception of the week of July 4th.
Program Dates:
June 9, 2025 — First day of onsite orientation
August 13, 2025 — Final day of the program
Location:
Hybrid role based in Austin, TX
In-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Remote: Monday and Friday
Interviews:
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis through March 31st
About the team
The Finance Intern will gain hands-on exposure to FP&A and Finance Operations, supporting both analytical and operational workflows. This role develops strong financial modeling capability while also engaging in core finance functions such as AR, Treasury, cash applications, invoicing, and collections. The intern will support month-end close activities, financial reporting, dashboards, and process automation initiatives.
This internship offers visibility across Financial Planning, Treasury, Procurement and business-facing analysis to help drive critical decisions
What will you be doing?
- Build and maintain financial models to support investment cases and business decisions
- Assist with month-end close activities including accruals, variance analysis, and financial statements
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analysis
- Participate in budget reviews and FP&A planning meetings
- Support accounts receivable management and reconciliation
- Learn and assist with cash application, invoicing, collections processes
- Assist with dashboard/report creation for business performance insights
- Participate in meetings, project planning sessions, and process improvement initiatives
- Learn and use new analysis tools and financial technology
- Additional finance-related tasks as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s candidate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of financial modeling (DCF, IRR, ROI preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite + Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with ownership and curiosity
- Passion for financial insights and driving business outcomes

- Experience financial modeling, treasury or reporting
- Evidence of strong analytical thinking and financial tool usage
- Interest in automation, data analysis, and operational improvement
