Job Description
As a Finance Clinical Operations Manager will take charge of clinical trial performance and compliance in your country, ensuring smooth execution for budget/finance aspects across multiple protocols from start-up to closeout. You’ll own budgets, negotiate contracts and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams—all while ensuring top-quality standards and adherence to global and local regulations.
What You’ll Do:
Develop country and site budgets, negotiate Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRAs), and oversee and track clinical research-related payments.
Drive timely delivery of country-specific trial milestones, ensuring compliance and quality.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (CRMs, CRAs, CTCs, Finance, Legal, HQ functional areas) and external partners to align timelines and deliverables.
Provide support and oversight to local vendors
Influence investigators and partners to meet commitments within budget and timelines.
Act as a subject matter expert, sharing best practices, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Extensive experience in clinical research or combined clinical research and finance/business.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance/ Administration/ Life Science or equivalent Health Care related experience.
Strong expertise in clinical systems, budget/contract negotiation, and local regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, mentoring, leadership and influencing skills.
Proven ability to independently solve problems, make decisions and manage risks.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a virtual, fast-paced environment.
Positive, growth-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
