Ready to be part of the action?

Working in Finance as part of the Finance Business Partnering (FBP) team, this role leads finance business partnering for TMX Datalinx & TMX VettaFi (the BUs) and is the key FBP lead for the Global Insights (GI) Operating Segment (OS).

FBPs empower financially sound planning and decision making throughout the organization. You will do this by spreading financial acumen; telling compelling, data-driven stories to spur action; bridging the knowledge gap between finance and operations; and assisting in the creation of financial planning and analysis’s (FP&A’s) decision support tools. As an FBP, you will simplify FP&A analysis into easily digestible business logic and take a more technology-guided and teaching-focused approach to business partnering, enabling decision makers to make sound financial decisions more independently. The C-suite and business unit executives will also rely on you as a sought-after thought-partner for strategic decisions and for insights that help achieve performance targets and outcomes.

You are an integral part of the Business Units (BUs) senior leadership team and responsible to plan, direct and organize all planning, accounting, and reporting functions as well as providing input on strategy, long-term vision, and project governance. A strong communicator and natural business partner, you'll liaise with various functional teams across TMX and build relationships with our stakeholders. You will earn a seat at the table to influence the decisions that will lead overall business growth and performance for the BUs. As a valued member of their team, you’ve had previous responsibilities supporting tactical execution in finance, such as modeling, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting, accounting and decision support. You are ready to act strategically to influence and to drive larger-scale change for the BUs. You also serve as the link between the BUs and the corporate finance group to ensure that the BUs financial concerns are addressed.

As the key GI OS lead, you will be responsible for the consolidation and coordination of the FBP function across GI’s, playing a pivotal part in all facets of GI FP&A, from supporting the group planning process to making data-driven recommendations to drive business performance.
