The team

We are a Global Procure to Pay Team and look into Accounts Payable & Expense Compliance for Hitachi Digital Global & Global Logic. Key activity being Vendor Invoice validation, processing & Payment, along with Employee expense audit and payment, in addition to this we do various activities related to AP & Expense. Our team is diverse and is located in multiple locations around the world to ensure we cater to Global countries. You will have an opportunity to work with experienced and dedicated finance professionals, who are experts in various fields and hold immense knowledge in finance domain.

The role

  • Process all vendor invoices in Oracle, assigned within the required TAT after performing invoice audit.
  • Vendor creation/modification in Oracle.
  • Handle invoice inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Processing employees claim/ reimbursement in COUPA (credit card and cash expenses reimbursement) as per company policy
  • Having clear concept of accounting & able to pass Journal Entries
  • Should have analytical and reconciliation skills of Bank, Credit Cards.
  • Assist in providing relevant documentation for financial statements audit /review from time to time
  • Handle other Accounts payable related tasks (reconciliations, invoice audit, payments, Month end Activities etc.)
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions, accounting, and reconciliations.
  • Completing assigned work and maintaining required SLA’s and TAT’s. Maintaining Quality of the work as required standards.
  • Work with the Senior Accountant on other ad-hoc projects as needed.

What you’ll bring

Major responsibilities related to Accounts Payable invoices and vendor creation, Employees expense report reimbursements and monthly accounting journal entries.

Education: Minimum B.COM

Maximum – CA-Inter/MBA in Finance/Charted Accountant

  • 5-6 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Better than entry level skill in ERP accounting software
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken and in MS Excel.
  • Oracle experience required.
  • com/M.com qualification required.
  • Coupa Software experience is preferred.
