Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis Support

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting processes for TxOD

  • Prepare financial reports and presentations highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and variances

  • Maintain and update financial models and forecasts based on inputs from business stakeholders

  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual and planned performance

  • Assist in the preparation of budget documentation and financial projections

Business Performance Reporting

  • Prepare regular performance reports for the TxOD leadership team and finance stakeholders

  • Monitor key business metrics and flag significant variances or emerging trends

  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to enhance financial reporting and insights

  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management and business partners

Financial Analysis

  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making

  • Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization

  • Support the evaluation of business cases and investment proposals with financial modeling and analysis

  • Assist in profitability analysis across different projects, clients, and service lines

  • Research and analyze financial data to provide insights on business performance

Commercial Support

  • Assist in the financial assessment of new client opportunities and strategic initiatives

  • Support pricing analysis and commercial evaluations for business proposals

  • Help prepare business cases with financial projections and return on investment analysis

  • Contribute to revenue recognition activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Process Support & Collaboration

  • Support the implementation and improvement of financial processes and controls

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across reporting systems

  • Collaborate with the wider FNZ Finance team on group-wide initiatives and reporting requirements

  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities as required

  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in supporting business growth through financial insights. They will be proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They will also:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

  • Have 4-6 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in FP&A, business finance, or financial analysis roles

  • Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA) completed or in progress is preferred

  • Possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency

  • Have experience in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Demonstrate good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

  • Show strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in financial work

  • Have good communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly

  • Be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and supporting multiple stakeholders

  • Show ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

  • Have experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

  • Technology sector or operations finance experience is a plus but not essential
