What You Will Do 

  • Our Finance organization plays a critical role in enabling program execution, driving financial stewardship, and supporting the delivery of mission‑critical capabilities.
    • Finance analysts work across functions—including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts—to support financial excellence and disciplined execution.
  • This position provides financial execution support across one or more programs, functional areas, or portfolios.
    • Analysts deliver recurring cost, schedule, and performance insights while contributing to disciplined financial processes such as forecasting, estimate-at-complete (EAC) development, budgeting, variance analysis, and contract reporting.

 What You Will Learn:

  • Core Financial Execution
    • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles, including LRE, EAC, and forecast development.
    • Prepare cost and schedule variance analysis to explain performance and drivers.
    • Develop financial charts, reporting packages, and presentations for Program Management Reviews and leadership briefings.
    • Validate actuals, ensure data accuracy, and maintain financial models and databases.
  • Program Controls & Contract Reporting (as applicable)
    • Provide Earned Value analysis and support EVMS compliance.
    • Prepare contractual financial deliverables within required deadlines.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration (as applicable)
    • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and support execution decisions.
    • Support proposal activity and development of Basis‑of‑Estimate or cost inputs when required.
  • Continuous Improvement & Analysis
    • Identify issues, risks, and opportunities; recommend corrective actions.
    • Apply problem‑solving to routine challenges.
    • Support process improvements, tool enhancements, and data integrity initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft programs
  • Experience with Exposure to team projects or internships involving finance or business analysis

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with creating basic presentations, financial tables, or data visualizations
  • Understanding of top‑level procedures, key metrics, or basic financial concepts.
  • General math and spreadsheet skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Financial analysis skills and working in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
