Air Liquide is Hiring for a Filing Plant Operator

• This position is located at our Filling Plant in Vanier.

• Day shift, 40 hours per week

Summary Job Description:  The successful candidate will be responsible for filling and moving medical and industrial gas cylinders, as well as performing quality control in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). We are offering this key position to someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and dedicated to their work.  

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting cylinders by checking their conformity;

• Filling of high pressure and liquid cylinders (when qualified)

• Connects cylinders and ensures that filling equipment is turned on and off;

• Maintains cylinders for defects, appearance and labeling by ensuring rejected cylinders go to cylinder maintenance;

• Performs regular plant cleaning while maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition;

• Participates in the planning and management of work.

Required Qualifications

• You have a high school diploma (Specific training is provided in-house).

• You are comfortable working with a forklift.

• You make health and safety your priority.

• You are dynamic and enjoy working physically.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have knowledge of compressed gases (preferred)

• You have training as a forklift operator, Simdut - TMD (preferred)

• You have a good learning capacity, a team spirit and an ability to adapt to changes.
