Overview

As a Director in FIG Solutions Structuring, you will partner with a cross functional team to work on insurance and asset-management related financing trades for Deutsche Bank balance sheet. Also, you will lead the structuring and capital raising of transactions for strategic reinsurance vehicles and sidecars. The FIG Solutions Structuring team has a broad remit with a focus on insurance companies across the life, P&C and catastrophe space, as well as alternative asset managers. and the intersection between the two industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Focus on insurance solutions including financing and advisory assignments for life, P&C and catastrophe insurance companies
  • Structuring and capital raising for strategic reinsurance vehicles and sidecars
  • Structure private credit transactions for Deutsche Bank balance sheet with an insurance focus (includes term loans, repos, TRS, etc. for insurance focused financing)
  • Structuring of capital efficient investments for insurance company balance sheets
  • Financial modeling

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, natural sciences, or actuarial sciences
  • Proven prior work experience in an investment bank, insurance company, asset management firm or similar role working with insurance companies on financing, capital formation or other advisory assignments. Knowledge of sidecar market trends are critical
  • Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, VBA is a plus)
  • Financial modeling, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $200,000 to $387,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
