This is a non-union positionAs a Field Technician I, you’ll begin developing the core skills and knowledge needed to ensure the safe and reliable operation of pipeline equipment. This entry-level role focuses on learning and applying safety procedures, performing basic maintenance and repair tasks, and supporting operational needs while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. What You Will Do:
Work safely and responsibly, actively participating in safety-related programs.
Assist with routine maintenance and repair of pipeline equipment and operational systems.
Respond to equipment malfunctions or emergencies under supervision, following established procedures.
Implement lockout/tagout procedures to ensure personnel safety.
Complete reports and documentation accurately and maintain familiarity with local filing systems.
Obtain required training to maintain qualifications.
Review and interpret drawings, sketches, and as-built diagrams.
Support material ordering, receiving, and inventory processes.
Who You Are:
You have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimal directly relevant training and experience required (entry-level role).
Valid driver’s license.
Basic computer literacy with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Strong technical and analytical aptitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment where integrity and safety are valued.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying ( up to 50 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 50 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
