As a Field Service Technician V, you won't merely be repairing hardware — you'll play a pivotal role in supporting mission-critical unmanned aerial systems, building trust with clients, and empowering end users to excel in the field. From software updates to hands-on repairs, you will ensure our UAV platforms remain mission-ready and operational.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and repair of UAV systems and associated technology (hardware and software).
  • Install and integrate systems at field/customer locations.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to users and team members.
  • Monitor system status, manage upgrades, and assess field performance.
  • Represent our brand with professionalism and confidence in all customer interactions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 10 years of relevant experience and 2 years of experience in a lead role
    • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to the UK for one year.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and system diagnostics.
  • Experience with Ground Control Stations (GCS) or similar technology.
  • Familiarity with technical certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, or A+.
  • Ability to pass a pre-deployment medical examination and meet DoD/Combatant Command deployment criteria.
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain international visas as needed.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field.
  • Experience with FCC/FCC GROL.
  • Familiarity with multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or the military.
