Teledyne Monitor Labs, a leading supplier of air measurement instrumentation and software is seeking a skilled professional to join our Field Service Team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service that meets or exceeds customer expectations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Job Description
Provide on-site service, and installation of instrumentation, as related to Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) Systems. Conduct technical analysis of products and implement modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific engineering instructions to meet customer expectations. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product specifications, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solution. Conduct hands-on technical training and product briefing with customers.
Experience in the industry is desirable, but not a requirement. Higher compensation will be offered to those with a CEMS background.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance of instrumentation.
· Travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time) primarily Monday through Friday, using air and ground transportation to locations around the country.
· Able to work outdoors on elevated platforms throughout the year.
· The physical ability to climb ladders, and stairs to reach stack platforms ranging from 20 to 150 feet.
· The ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining Teledyne Ethical standards.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Competent with Microsoft Office Products.
· Provide technical support to customers via telephone.
· Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Education and/or Experience
Associate degree in engineering, technology or related scientific study. Ten to fifteen years related field experience troubleshooting/repairing analytical equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to be analytical, solve problems, and provide technical support.
· Experience with customer service.
· Work well with other team members.
· Professional written and oral communication skills
· Willing to travel overnight up to 80% of the normal Monday through Friday work week.
