As a Field Service Specialist (m/f/d) focusing on our revolutionary SBX sequencing technology, you will be the guarantor of maximum system uptime in our customers' laboratories. With your technical expertise and solution-oriented mindset, you will ensure the seamless deployment of our pioneering Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platform with precision and efficiency.
You will become part of a highly qualified service team. We are a community of technical experts who maintain a direct line to our sales department and molecular laboratory specialists. Together, we manage the rollout and support of our new SBX platform, supporting each other through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. In our team, personal responsibility and a passion for technical precision in the field of genomics are what truly count.
The Opportunity
In this key position, you will be responsible for the operational excellence of our state-of-the-art diagnostic systems:
Troubleshooting: You will independently perform complex error analysis and repairs on our systems, with a particular focus on SBX technology and its digital interfaces.
Installation: You will manage the installation and commissioning of our new sequencing platforms – from checking the customer's technical infrastructure to the final handover.
Maintenance: The planning and execution of preventive maintenance intervals will be in your hands, ensuring the maximum performance of the systems at all times.
Advisory: As a technical expert and competent point of contact, you will provide sound advice to our customers regarding system adjustments and the appropriate service portfolio.
Who You Are
You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy diving deep into complex mechatronic and molecular systems:
Education: You hold a degree in Engineering (University/Applied Sciences), are a state-certified technician, or possess a comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Medical Technology.
Experience: You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Diagnostics technical service; ideally, you have already had exposure to Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) or similar molecular techniques.
IT Expertise: You are proficient in the configuration and diagnostics of IT interfaces as well as in handling Linux and modern network infrastructures.
Communication: You communicate purposefully in Swedish and have very good English skills for working within an interdisciplinary, international team of experts.
Mindset: You are customer-oriented, business-minded and characterized by a structured, independent way of working in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Mobility: Due to regional deployment planning and travel times, you should ideally live in close proximity to an international airport. Furthermore, you hold a valid driver's license and have a high willingness to travel to support our customers within the EMEA-LATAM region.
