At Roche, we believe that access to reliable diagnostics plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our instruments operate at their best—supporting healthcare professionals with timely, high-quality technical service.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge diagnostic technologies while building strong partnerships with customers across your territory.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
Deliver installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic instruments at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all service activities are completed accurately and on time
Provide technical training and support to customers to ensure optimal product usage
Document service activities, product issues, and maintenance reports in internal systems
Manage spare parts, service logs, and administrative responsibilities in a timely manner
Travel within assigned territory to support hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities
Support continuous improvement by contributing to preventive maintenance procedures
Build trusted relationships with customers, becoming a reliable technical partner in their operations
You are a technically capable and customer-focused professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, with a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability in delivering service excellence.
Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Electronic, Electro-Medical (ATEM), Instrumentation, or Physics Engineering
Fresh graduates are welcome; 2+ years of experience as a Service Engineer in diagnostics or medical devices is an advantage
Able to read and understand wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and system functions
Familiar with measurement tools (e.g., multimeter, voltmeter)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while working under pressure
Effective communication skills, including basic English proficiency
