This is a non-union positionEnbridge is pleased to welcome a Field Operator to our Westover team. In this role, you will be responsible for Petroleum Quality and Measurement for the IOL Nanticoke Refinery Delivery and the Westover Express Pipeline. You will also support the Petroleum Quality and Measurement activities at the Westover Terminal and Nanticoke Compound.

What you will do:
Perform custody transfer and quality sample collection, testing (sediment & water, densities) of crude oil. Perform and document checks on all measurement devices at receipt and delivery meter manifolds in accordance with Enbridge Petroleum Quality and Measurement standards.
Conduct scheduled inspections and testing of process metering and measurement equipment, valves (block-and-bleed testing), pressure, temperature, storage tank gauging and bottoms surveys.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and represent Enbridge interests during measurement audits.
Review meter proving reports to confirm acceptance of meter factors. Account for delivery and receipt volumes and complete month-end reports.
Operate the Westover Lab safely, including housekeeping, maintaining measurement and gauging equipment, managing inventories, and overseeing infrastructure.
Use Maximo daily to complete scheduled work orders and enter corrective maintenance work orders, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
Complete emergency response training and provide effective support during drills, initial emergency response and spill containment.
Collaborate and provide support to the maintenance team (E/M, PLM) and perform general housekeeping.
Who you are:
High school diploma or GED required, plus five (5) years of directly relevant training and experience in crude oil quality testing and measurement.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with high precision equipment and record data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Emergency response experience and tank fire response experience are an asset.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in computer applications.
Motivated by structured scheduling, following regulated processes, reporting, data integrity, personal growth, and safety.
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include (but is not limited to) a five-year driving record review, criminal background check, company-sponsored medical assessment, and drug testing.
Working Conditions:
Based at the Westover Terminal, with a mix of office and field work.
Shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed for workload, reports, or emergencies. Sometimes, extended hours may include weekends, nights, or holidays to meet operational needs.
Work involves frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and requires the use of personal protective equipment to prevent serious or lost-time injury.
Provide coverage for other staff during vacation, training, or other absences.
Maintain residence within 40mins of the Westover Terminal.
Salary:
Ranges from $35.50 – $45.50 CAD for Ontario Canada locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
