Position Summary:
Field Operations Lead
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a resource person, coordinate projects and resolve issues arising during work shift.
Ensure that instructions and protocols are followed, including safety measures and safety equipment. Supports and guides field operations team to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
Participates in the management of invasive plants.
Carries out and plans educational programs (i.e. guided tours).
Assist in the service to members, visitors, and academic clientele.
Patrols and monitors the trails at the Morgan Arboretum.
Performs landscaping, trail maintenance and ecological restoration which may require use of specialized equipment or vehicles.
