Federal Work Study - SASE Event Designer

South Bend, IN Part time
The primary responsibility is to support the School of Arts, Sciences and Education with graphic design skills to design, update, and etc. the promotional pieces, hand-outs, curriculum pages and assist with events.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs event support activities for the School of Arts, Sciences and Education. Duties may include, but not limited to:
• Brainstorming and ideation of Ivy Tech announcements and promotional efforts for wrap around services, events, and Tuesdays at the Tech.
• Attending Ivy Tech events and inviting prospects via social media to engagements and events (can be before an event or live).
• Designing, and updating promotional pieces, hand-outs/flyers, and curriculum pages.
• Organizing and assisting with promotional packets for events.
• Completing special projects as assigned.

General Qualifications:
• Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Be able to communicate well orally and work well with diverse student populations
• Maintains enrollment in eligible courses
• Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status 
• Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Projects positive image for Ivy Tech Community College.
• Display a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable, responsible and organized.
• Must work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors.
• Must be able to practice confidentiality in all aspects of work.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Confidentiality must be maintained and followed along with FERPA regulations . 
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Canva required. 
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
