What You Will Do:

Our Financial Management professionals help our clients in Defense and National Security optimize all elements of their financial management structure by transforming business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, improving transparency and performance management, promoting change management, and complying with Federal laws and regulations.

Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:

  • Analyze DFAS financial reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or AI enablement

  • Develop or support advanced analytics, reconciliations, data pipelines, or data quality reviews

  • Work with systems such as ERP(s), DDRS, WDP/Advana, GTAS, Treasury reporting data, and IGT datasets

  • Deliver components of solutions related to JVs, period close, IGT elimination, FBWT, or variance analysis

  • Build dashboards, workflows, or analytic products that enhance financial transparency

  • Participate in backlog refinement, user story development, and cross‑functional agile delivery


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.

  • Bachlores Degree

  • TWO (2) years of experience in financial management, analytics, data engineering, audit, or related fields


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with DoD or DFAS financial reporting, Treasury reporting, or audit remediation; familiarity with platforms such as Advana/WDP, Databricks, ServiceNow, UiPath, or other low‑code automation tools; understanding of IL5/FedRAMP environments, data governance, and controls; and relevant certifications such as CPA, CGFM, CDFM, data analytics, or cloud/technology credentials. Proficiency with analytical and scripting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, data visualization); strong communication skills with the ability to convey findings to technical and non‑technical audiences; and the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively in agile project teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
