Responsibilities
Responsibilities include doctoral student classroom instruction and evaluation; small group support for clinical training; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions and accreditation activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities to include publications, grants, presentations, and collaborative projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, clinical training, and student mentorship within a practitioner-scholar model. The ideal candidates also will have a strong research orientation with established or potential for extramural support. Qualifications
General qualifications include a degree from an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychology program and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Active, unrestricted license to practice as a clinical psychologist in Georgia or immediate eligibility is required. Prior experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring graduate students is preferred.
Preference for this position will be given to someone with expertise and teaching experience in Cognitive Assessment. A background in clinical neuropsychology, with the ability to teach Neuropsychological Assessment and Biological Bases of Behavior, is also desirable. Other areas of expertise within clinical psychology will be considered.
