Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management and Analysis
- Execute core factory controlling responsibilities to ensure robust financial oversight.
- Collect, analyze, and report financial data related to factory operations.
- Support monthly IC revenue, CM, EBIT forecasting, and annual budget development.
- Build business cases for capital and operational expenditures.
2. Analytical Thinking and Insight Generation
- Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively.
- Develop and apply analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Align financial efforts with strategic objectives across functions.
3. Communication and Collaboration
- Partner with factory leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Lead monthly financial review meetings to support accurate forecasting.
4. Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Vanderlande’s financial policies and J-SOX standards.
- Document and enforce finance processes aligned with global practices.
5. Continuous Improvement and Project Involvement
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and change management projects.
- Support process automation and transformation efforts in collaboration with the D&A and Transformation Office.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven +10 years of experience in financial business partnering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and analytical tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator and team player with the ability to multitask and plan efficiently.
- Self-starter focused on outcomes and professional growth in an international and ambitious environment.
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and high standards of integrity in financial matters.
