Facility Professional / Building Constructor for Facility Management

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated Facility Professional within building construction and facility management who will be an advisor to partners across building expansion projects.

The Role and Team

Overall, you will be a part of the Facility Group, which consists of 15 people, highly skilled in their respective areas. The different areas of responsibility in the Facility department include facility maintenance, canteen, gowning, cleaning services, pest control, fire safety, and Facility Strategic Projects. You will have a less-operational role, meaning the role will be more focused on coordination and oversight than hands-on responsibilities.

On a daily basis, you will be working closely and teaming up with the Facility Project SME (Subject Matter Expert from the Facility Strategic Projects team) on large CAPEX projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving and implementing GMP and non-GMP changes related to minor projects on the Hillerød site, in direct connection with the existing operations. This means that you should thrive with having many different stakeholders, and it is expected that you know how to navigate a changing and complex project landscape. On a personal level, our internal department workday is open, friendly, humorous, and relaxed.

Responsibilities

• Management of outsourced services within building maintenance and outdoor services
• Act as a Facility Management Professional and be part of building expansion projects in close collaboration with internal and external construction stakeholders and other facility SMEs. This involves being an advisor and taking part in review meetings and area walks (building handover).
• Be a delegated change owner responsible for implementing changes within the architecture package (doors, ceilings, facades, and other surfaces) with a focus on functionalities, building maintenance, and operational flows. This includes documentation of changes and ensuring that the process is in full compliance with Quality, Safety, and GMP standards.
• Drive various project coordination tasks and ad hoc cross-functional facility tasks

Requirements

Education as a building constructor, or similar

• A minimum of 3 years of GMP experience is required.
• Experience in facility management within life sciences is preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve problems.
• A good understanding of facility management processes and concepts
• Expertise in dealing with complex and sensitive issues related to manufacturing and quality topics • Solution-oriented and pragmatic
