Salary Range: $105383 - $137000 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a FACILITY MANAGER in the FACILITIES DIVISION of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the central point of contact on all facilities management, maintenance, and support service matters.
  • You will draft statements of work and associated documents for contracted services by Fleet Logistics Center or Naval Facilities Command for facility repair or remodeling.
  • You will prepare annual budget estimates and execute Command’s Facilities Budget of more than 4 million dollars.
  • You will manage all construction, maintenance, repair, and alteration projects and contracts through use of self-devised plans of actions and milestones and project plans.
  • You will serve as chair of the Command's Facilities and Capital Improvement Planning Board. Compiles and presents for approval the Command’s 5-Year facilities plan for major facilities projects and physical plant improvements.
  • You will oversee the Command’s Accountable Property program managing both equipment and supplies ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
  • You will develop Command policy and procedures related to facilities maintenance and trouble reporting.
  • You will represent the Command in decision-making and negotiations with other officials of equal or higher level on tenant facilities matters to include the annual Shore Installation Planning Board.
  • You will perform all supervisory functions to include approving leave, preparing/revising position descriptions, assigning work, developing performance standards and resolving personnel matters according to command policies.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing relevant and accurate briefings to senior executive staff on matters affecting the facilities support services. Experience identifying maintenance and repair needs, problems, and operating principles of building systems, equipment including utility systems for a large facility. Experience identifying needs and developing actions plans, milestones, and goals with recommendations for resolution of problems. Experience providing administrative services for the maintenance, repair, or modification of facilities. Experience managing a preventative maintenance program for all major infrastructure supporting systems. Experience assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees.
