New hires are typically brought into the organization between $26.84 and $33.55/hour based on experience and education. Location & Schedule
In this position you can expect to work on-site at Mountain Parks Headquarters in Morrison, Colorado. This position will work Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, with occasional weekends as needed.
Who We Are & What You’ll Do
Denver Parks and Recreation is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician that will report to and support the City and County of Denver’s beautiful Mountain Parks. This position will be responsible for a variety of construction, maintenance, and upkeep of our Mountain Parks Amenities. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work independently and as a part of a small team.
We are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Maintenance Technician who can work effectively on a team but is highly-motived enough to complete work orders and projects independently as needed. Specifically, as the Facility Maintenance Technician you will have:
Experience in maintenance and repair of a variety or machinery and equipment.
Experience in snow removal and road grading
Proficiency in operating light to heavy equipment
Hold a valid Driver’s License at time of application
Requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL “B”) with appropriate endorsements by end of 6 month probation

Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience performing a variety of duties in construction, mechanical, or facility maintenance
Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements
License/Certifications: This job requires driving. Requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements by the end of probation. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment
