We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Facilities Specialist position located in Provo, Utah. Responsibilities include:
Perform routine building maintenance, including minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs, and troubleshoot facility issues to complete corrective maintenance
Conduct facility inspections and walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and opportunities for improvement
Execute and track preventative maintenance programs for building equipment and systems
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of facility supplies and spare parts
Complete maintenance tasks using drawings, digital work orders, email requests, and verbal instructions
Assist with oversight of remote office facilities, conduct site reviews or virtual walkthroughs, and track maintenance activities across locations
Coordinate vendors and contractors, source vendor quotes, and manage vendor relationships for facility maintenance, services, and improvement projects
Support facility improvement projects, including office reconfigurations, equipment installations, workspace upgrades, and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Maintain a safe, clean, and functional office environment, coordinate janitorial services, assist with event setups, and respond to employee facility requests and work orders
Identify safety hazards, support compliance with company safety policies and building regulations, assist with safety initiatives and accident prevention measures, and maintain documentation, including SOPs, maintenance logs, and operational procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or facilities management experience
Experience supporting corporate office environments or commercial buildings is preferred
Experience coordinating vendors or contractors is preferred
Experience supporting multi-site or remote facility operations is preferred
Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to perform basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks
Ability to coordinate vendors, contractors, and facility service providers
Ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities and projects simultaneously
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and leadership
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or facility ticketing systems
Ability to obtain and evaluate vendor quotes for facility services
Ability to identify facility safety risks and support compliance initiatives
