Position summary:

This role is part of the team that maintains the Facilities for the Corporate MCB location at 99 Park Avenue.  As a key member of the team, this role will maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and workplace experience for our staff and clients. You will be responsible for daily upkeep by following schedules, managing various duties for the restrooms, pantry, offices, conference rooms and other core areas. You will also be responsible for the restocking of all pantry supplies.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned correctly and according to the corporate standards and completed in a timely manner
  • Inspect and evaluate physical space condition for cleanliness
  • Audit pantry inventory supplies
  • Communicate with Facilities Manager on a consistent basis
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Escalate complaints for the purpose of resolution
  • Assure proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies
  • Scope of Work includes but not limited to:

PANTRY (12th & 13th Floors)

  • Clean pantry countertops (three times per day and as needed)
  • Clean pantry tables (three times per day and as needed)
  • Maintain and restock pantry supplies
  • Monitor and report needs for pantry supplies replenishment
  • Empty trash containers in pantry areas (three times per day or as needed)
  • Clean all water, coffee machines, and microwaves (once daily)
  • Clean out the large refrigerators at the end of each month and dispose of all personal/food contents

RESTROOMS (12th & 13th Floors)

  • Clean restroom floors (twice per day and as needed)
  • Empty restroom trash receptacles (twice per day and as needed)
  • Clean restrooms sink countertops (twice per day and as needed)
  • Monitor and maintain Restroom supplies (replace as needed)

GENERAL SPACE (12th & 13th Floors)

  • Continuous dusting and sanitizing flat services throughout the floors including offices
  • Pick up paper/debris (throughout the day)
  • Clean all drinking fountains (once per day)
  • Carpeted areas, including conference rooms, vacuum cleaned (as needed)
  • Hard flooring mopped (twice per week as needed)
  • Clean main lobby, lobby doors and floor (as needed)
  • Remove all trash from pantry, conference and meeting rooms on the 12th and 13th floors for building removal daily. Replace trash bin liners as needed
  • Clean glass throughout 12th and 13th floors monthly or as needed
  • Keep under counter refrigerators in conference rooms and meeting rooms stocked with water and soft drinks

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Detail oriented
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of office maintenance/cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Self-directed - Able to work with minimal direction and demonstrate proactive problem-solving ability

 

Potential Salary: $45,500 - $54,600 annually

This salary range reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
