This site-based role in Craigieburn, VIC reporting to the Manager Facilities VIC sits within the Bank’s Workplace Department and is responsible for managing critical infrastructure, facilities operations and the workplace experience. You will deliver safe, sustainable and efficient property and facilities services, ensuring operational availability and compliance while supporting the Bank’s core business.
This position offers exposure across a broad facilities management portfolio, including building engineering services, facilities operations, emergency management and related disciplines—providing variety, challenge and professional growth.
Preserve, protect and enhance the Bank’s property and facilities assets
Manage client, tenant and stakeholder relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery
Provide expert advice on facilities infrastructure and property services
Deliver financial outcomes through operational efficiency and effective contract management
Develop, implement and monitor facility and property strategies, policies, procedures and plans
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Over 10 years' experience in Facilities and Building Services
Practical knowledge and experience in Facilities, Building Services, Business continuity
Strong understanding of contract management and technical building systems
Proven experience in property and facilities management within a manufacturing environment
Experience using relevant software applications, spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrated capability in procurement, drafting contracts and managing service providers
Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
Extensive industry experience across property and facilities services
A strong customer service mindset with the ability to build productive, trusted working relationships
Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
Emotional maturity and professional confidence, with the ability to remain composed, balanced and credible in complex or high‑pressure situations
Current knowledge of building maintenance and services contracting arrangements, contract law and technical systems
Relevant undergraduate qualifications (preferred) in Engineering, Property related field, with lease management experience will be highly regarded
