Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Facility Engineer at Micron, you will:

• Ensure the smooth functioning and upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Plan and coordinate construction, renovations, and maintenance projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and put into action rigorous safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine facility requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply proven project management skills to successfully implement facility upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar area.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in facility management or a comparable position.
• Solid understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong project management expertise demonstrated by successfully managing several projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated history of effectively carrying out facility upgrades and improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to consistently follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Proficiency with facility management software and tools.
