FA Material Handler Team Lead - 1st Shift

Job Description

We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Material Handler Team Lead in FA materials. This is a 1st Shift role (M-Thurs), 05:30AM – 03:30PM). Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and communicate activities, our goals, and deadlines to team
• Delegates tasks, provides updates on orders and coordinates work with different departments
• Used documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving, picking or delivering parts
• Assemble product, delivers material to the production area, pick up waste, and deliver finished product on a scheduled basis following a set route
• Review documentation and use SAP/external systems to assess, replenish, and prioritize material and finished goods to support production and shipping processes

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 6 years of verified related experience
• A minimum of 3 years of leading a team
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• A minimum of 6 years of related experience
